My first reply was taking your statement at face value, but I looked up Winfield's
ProFootball-Reference.com stats and, not counting his rookie year, he only had 2 seasons where he started <10 games, and out of 14 seasons, 8 he was active for all 16, 2 he was active in <10, and 4 seasons he was active and started between 10 and 15 games. Last year he started 15 games. Injuries happen, this is a guy who is a tough physical CB, even if we had to sub in for a few games, it's not like we haven't had to do that across the board. That's why depth, and rookie talent are so critical in this league.
So, if we can get a deal done with Winfield, and he passes his physical, I'm good with that.
