First off I teach in BCPS and I am not a gun advocate at all. Obviously the situation could've been worse and we are fortunate it wasn't. Robert Gladden is the product of bullying and poor parenting. His mental attitude toward life also suggests psychological issues that should be addressed, although I am not a school counselor so I am not an expert. I think the bigger question in this situation is how do we provide a student with the support they need when they are not getting it at home.
