He was a back up in Washington. His claim to fame is coming off the bench to help blow out Denver 42-10 in the 1987 Super Bowl while putting up big numbers. You could kind of call him a one hit wonder, that one game endears him to a lot of Redskin fans.
The rest of his career was below average compared to his peers.
