Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game

The reality is that the offense has yet to find its rhythm with any consistency, and as that goes, so do the team's up-and-down fortunes from week to week. We lost to the Colts because the O never got going; the Colts scored 21 but the D cannot be expected to do more when the O isn't holding up its end of the bargain.

The O was likewise terrible against the Saints -- not that the D was any better, but you have to keep the ball away from Brees and his playmakers to have a shot at winning. We didn't, and therefore we didn't.]

The Redskins have to get the O going against a strong Cowboys D. The Cowboys offense isn't scary (yesterday's beat down of Jax aside -- anther team whose O made it's D miserable) outside of Elliott. But if our O cannot do its job, keep the ball, score some points, and not force our D to win the game, we won't win. In fact, it might not be close. We win or lose every game by double digits it seems, and I see no reason why this week will be different. And the outcome will depend on which O shows up.
