So we beat you Sunday and you take it out on the Cowboys - on national TV - on Thursday. Its a win win for both of us.
While,
technically, it's a lose-win for you, the nationally televised win carries more weight then a 1:00 loss on some candy ass local broadcasts. Also, a loss to the Skins helps the Panthers answer the inevitable questions of how will they will rebound from their first loss. As they destroy the Cowboys on national TV after a loss to us on Sunday, Gruden will be singing the Panthers' praises and talking about their renewed sense of purpose. Actually, a loss to the Skins practically guarantees that your team will come out screaming Thursday night and with a chip on their shoulder for the stretch run - building momentum just at the right time for the play-offs. Losing to the Skin's practically guarantees the Panthers a 15-1 season and home field advantage throughout the play-offs. So you see, the best thing that could happen to the Panthers Sunday is losing to the Skins.
Obviously, the Skins would be doing the Panthers a huge favor by beating them.
