He's actually not that bad. more than half his draft picks have been productive players, if not stars (Jacobs, Crosby, Renfrow...). His swings and misses in LV have been on high picks and the AB car crash. On the latter, Arians took him to TB and had pretty much the same experience, so it's not all on Mayock. I'd say his primary flaws are in the business side of GM, not talent evaluation, but coupled with a few stinkers in the draft and the fallout over Gruden this result was probably likely. Whether he can be a GM elsewhere is an unknown, but I'd say his talent evaluation is at least better than average.
