"At a social event last night, Jay Gruden said that RB Byron Marshall is headed to injured reserve with damage to multiple knee ligaments. That solves the mystery of the team keeping five running backs. The reason they didn’t move him straight to IR is that a player must be on the original 53 to be eligible to be one of the two players who can be activated later in the season."
