For me, 24-0 Bucs will be one of my favorite highlights of watching the Redskins, and we have Kirk to thank for that. Did he bring us back to dominance? No, but he's the first Redskins quarterback in 25 years to bring us back to respectability. If you want to give Gruden/Allen the credit for that, do it. As much as Kirk owes his "success" (air-quotes because half of you act like Kirk was an overrated bum) to Gruden/McVay/etc., they owe equal credit to him, for having some success on the field. True. All I think we are saying though is there are a good 15 QBs in the league they could have done the same or better with.
I mean look at what McVay did with Goff.
Kirk was good. But I’m not sure we’re any worse today, and after free agency I think we’ll be better.
