I think one aspect of the situation is that the Redskins are in a win-loss situation where they have to take chances on draft picks and FA who might have an injury issue. Taking a gamble on a player who has fallen in the draft or FA because of a history of injuries.
I love Reed, but at some point is it not better to have someone at less talent but who can contribute a full season? That way we don't have to play a replacement with 15 years in the NFL?
