They will have to be able to sustain long drives and win time of possession. They can do that if they are able to put together a solid running game, or a combination of running and using the backs out of the backfield. I'm not convinced this team can run the ball though, not after what I saw last week. I think they averaged about 2 yards per carry last week
. So it could be a long day. I do think the Eagles D is probably better overall than the Cardinals D...but there's only one week of work to compare them. We'll find out this weekend.
I think the defense is going to have to carry this team again (as they probably will all year unless the O-line play improves), and they'll have to do it against a more potent offense than last week.
A defensive / special teams TD would be nice...
