I'm glad Trent spoke today because its cleared up that he is 100% to blame for this fiasco. If there was ever a first round pick on the table for Trent and Allen didn't take it, i'd be pissed at Allen. But anything less than that, and I actually think this is the one time the team got it right. I would not let a whining POS like trent force his way out of town 3 years after I made him the highest paid LT in the game in a front-loaded contract with 2 years remaining on his deal. So I applaud the team for not caving to his demands.

It really sounds like the Redskins recommended he go see a specialist this offseason, and he did which is when they determined it was cancerous.
Also it makes sense to the that the Browns would offer a first rounder when they were flying high and thought they had good prospects at the beginning of the season. Now they're 2-5 and looking like garbage and know that first rounder is probably going to be decent so of course they wouldn't want to give it up.
Redskins played themselves. Bruce Allen's gamble was that this was about getting more money, obviously it's not considering Trent gave up 7 million during his holdout and didn't even hesitate when asked if a contract extension would solve things. He wants out. We should've obliged if a team offered a first rounder, that Browns pick would be looking great right now.
