Lost/Heroes Crossover
Seems a bit of a stretch for me but...
'Heroes' conspiracy theory isn't 'Lost' on series' fans - The Boston Globe

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
I used to love Lost. Now I still like it but Heroes is such a better show. So much more fun and they have avoided 'going x-files'. You know like when they answer a question and create 3 more then three weeks later reveal that they didn't really answer that question in the first place. Lost has lost it's touch with the story and the mysteries. It almost seems like they just make it up as they go.

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
It will be interesting to see how Heroes holds up after the first season though. It's hard for most shows like this to keep momentum up over a sustained period of time

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
I think a show like Lost, or Prison Break (I've never actually watched it) needs to have a set time frame in mind when it gets created. With Lost, the producers need to know exactly how long the story will last so that they know what questions they will have time to raise and then fully explain. I think the problem is that people are just assuming that they are making up as they go along and therefore will never feel the need to answer the questions that they raised.
I guess I still have some faith that they know what they're doing. I really don't want to still be watching Lost in 5 years, having to see Hurley, Jin, and Charlie playing the Harlem Globetrotters to see who gets to use the coconut radio that Sayid made in season 6.

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
Prison Break is going to be an hour-long monologue soon enough. They're killing people off each week it seems

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
You're the only person still sticking with me on that show. Prison Break DOES need to end sometime soon. I love that show, but eventually it's going to be drug out to the point of ridiculousness.

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
Yeah all these serial shows do great in the ratings and then tank as everyone realizes there will never be the great payoff. I agree that they should create these shows with a predetermined timeline and a total framework for what is going to happen and then stick to it. Pay off in the end go off the air. I'd much rather watch 2 great seasons of Heoes and have it pay off well and then be gone than have it continue on and end up sucking. It'll make me feel like I wasted my time. The pay off makes it all worth it to me and these shows like Lost are starting to get to the 'dragging it out' point. I swear if we end up getting a BS ending like x-files where there was no good ending then I'll be pissed. X-files needs to be the #1 example of how NOT to do it. They took a great show and never paid it off effectively. Ruined it totally. I can't count how many hours of my life I wasted on x-files.

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
Speaking of the X-Files that was a great show that should have ended around season 5 or so. I lost interest and didn't watch the last few seasons. How did it end anyway?

Re: Lost/Heroes Crossover
I haven't seen either Lost or Heroes. Are they worth checking out? I haven't really loved a TV show since Seinfeld.
