Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

No, this hasn't been said by anyone or mentioned in any media outlets, but I just wanted to play virtual GM for a minute..

Suppose we trade LaVar/Ramsey for Culpepper and a late round draft pick. Yes, we keep Brunell and JC. Restructure Brunells contract, if that's possible, and keep him as a solid backup. JC being the third man on the charts.

Hahahahahaha. We gave up this year's first rounder and more to draft Campbell. Why would you want him to be No. 3 on the depth chart for the second year in a row?

What you think its going to turn into a Brunell v/s Ramsey and a should we release Arrington mega thread? I think that we do need to spend some more time discussing these important issues and maybe we could throw in the subject of if Campbell should start for us.LOL

Re: Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

I would have made that trade if Daunte was not sitting with 3 torn ligiments in his knee right now. He did that knee up bad and there has been talk that he may not even be able to play next year. So now you are looking at 2 years from now and by that point Campbel should be ready. If Daunte can't start and be an upgrade next year then why even bother.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, to find out that we are discussing Ramsey/Brunnell and Arrington in this thread.

By the way firstdown, here are your winnings.

Re: Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

That's ridiculous. Minnesota was a better team without Duante Culpepper. He would expect to be a starter if he came to Washington. That would muddy the waters even more. The question is very simple: Brunnel or Campbell. Ramsey is as good as gone. Hopefully we can get a draft pick or a servicable wide receiver.

OR

We could trade Santana Moss and Clinton Portis to the Raiders for Randy Moss, Lamont Jordan, and their #1. Then we trade that pick next years #1 and Ramsey to the to the Saints for their #1 pick and the Superdome.

Then we draft Vince Young, and move the Superdome to DC, and use it as a practice facility.
