The Other Side of Saunders?
Posted on our Newswire:
Kansas City Star: Columnist Jason Whitlock- Saunders a legend in the media's mind. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansa...ck/13682142.htm Media loves him, players don't. Puts out the League's best Offense. Hmmm.

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
I did see that article. My feeling on that whole thing is that his ass is a little chapped personally by Saunders. I wouldn't sweat it because Gibbs is a fairly intelligent man and as long as Saunders gives us the same results he got in KC, Williams will keep the defense going and we won't have to worry about any controversy.

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
Yeah that article rang a little bit to close to childish.
Allow me to paraphrase: "He told me I was cool, and now he wont even take my call. He sucks!" Yeah sorry Joe Local Reporter we're on to you. You were the clingy friend in school. |

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
Jason Whitlock is the most worthless piece of ass sports journalist/columnist/whatever in the business. His opinions run towards ridiculous I have noticed and based on an array of comments from him I believe he couldn't be counted on to fairly judge anyone because all he sees is black and white. Just about every other darn thing that comes out of his mouth has something to do with race. He is worthless.

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
Axe to grind personally! Pissed, they have no coaching staff, and missed a golden oppurtunity to get Mike Tice, etc. Holy sh.., I hope this doesn't show up in the "no search prior to post" early warning system!!!!!!!!!!

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
Chiefs fan here at work forwarded that article to me a couple days ago. He said that Whitlock is known to write crap like that to get readers. Sally Jenkins anyone?

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
I've worked with a guy from Leavenworth (no he's not in prison) for the last two years and he goes ballistic when the subject of Whitlock comes up. I think he sat in for Wilbon on PTI last August and he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. I've heard him on the radio out there as well and he's one of these guys that says things to be contrarian in order to gain listeners without having the skill to make the argument work. He's also morbidly obese. It seems a little early to be laying down cover fire for Herm. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs went in the dumper next year.

Re: The Other Side of Saunders?
It's funny that he says people in the NFL think Saunders is a snake and that he knifed Coryell and others in the back. But his two biggest endorsements came from, that's right you guessed it, Don Coryell and Dick Vermeil. Everywhere this guy has been they have had a great offense, coincidence, I think not. Jason Whitlock is just an ass.
