Miami CB Kelly Jennings said in his NFL.com NFL Draft diary he will have a pre-draft visit with the Washington Redskins Monday, April 17.

Good! You can't go wrong with a player from the U. Do you know what round he is projected for?

That leads me to believe two things. One. We are strongly considering drafting a DB. Two. We possibly will be trading a future pick (first round) to get the player we want. Sigh.

His could put on some lbs. only weighing 178lbs. Could be the next Smoot.

Yeah--this is the second visit with a highly ranked CB. Not so fond of trading away future picks, but I trust that Gibbs and co have a plan here. They seem to feel that you get good value with that sort of move--you bet you are going to have a strong year, and trade with someone who thinks you suck. All the negative media hype really helps here.

We'll see! The skins always seem to find ways to make things interesting in the offseason.

'Sleep where you been? I couldn't find another post with a scheduled draft prospect other than 'Bama LB DeMeco Ryans. We are aiming higher than are own selection at 53rd overall.
