DT Sam Adams

What up with DT Sam Adams last i heard the bills are expected to release the big fellow.Williams used him well in his D.

I haven't seen anything about Sam being released, but I hope you are right. If we could get him for a good price he would be a huge upgrade at DT. Griffin and Adams would make it almost impossible to run up the middle on us forcing them to try to beat our fast linebackers. I have always loved Sam Adams I really hope he gets released.

I would love to have big old Sam Adams too.especially since I am now living in Baltimore and that would really burn my co-workers.

Sam Adams is a great player, but is DT really where we need to spend our cash? I think we should be more on the lookout for DE's. Sam isn't a bad pick, for the right price.

I think our biggest need right now is DT. Between Lavar Arrington and Marcuse Washington there is two guys with great speed coming off the outside. Now what is it that a speed rusher needs. A DT to compress the pocket and pust the quaterback back into there rush lanes. Plus i'm still not sure our team is gonna be very good against the run. Another solid DT would really help solidify that concern. I think betweenn LA and MW adn some creative blitzing we should be able to sack the quaterback enough. WE need someone to sure up the middle of our line.

definately skins009... and i dont think we would need a de upgrade considering sam will take double teams alot which opens up griffin and wynn/upshaw. i would love to have him... and he's like 35, so i think we can get a decent price

I was hoping we'd pick him up last season. If it is true that he is going to be released I am all in favor of Williams picking him up. If he's available he will be a Redskin. Our run defense would be feared even without a standout DE at season start. No doubt Gibbs will find an unknown Dexter Manley to whip around that end or go up the middle off the line. Arrington could possibly be a SUPERMAN version of Dexter under Gibbs/Williams. Man I'm getting damn excited for September!!! Season ticks!!! YEEEEHEEEEHAWWW!!!

yeh i was reaaalllly wanting us to pick him up last season and was confused why we didn't...i hope we can get him..at least some help on the dline will be nice...yeh we need DE help too...but like someone said before our speedy LB's can cover the outside run..but it will hurt the outside pass rush tho'..Maybe we can workout a deal for adams and a left out end..

i hope we get Sam Adams then the defense should be okay unless Springs is a bust and Harris is a bust at CB. Having bowen at safety while we blitz alot is scary though.

I think DT is a more pressing need. We have to solid ends. Wynn isnt a playmaker but holds his own, and hopefully Daniels will perform liek he did two years ago and become a play maker again. We've got Griffen then its a toss up depending on if peopel can come back form injury and if the other learned to play DT in the offesason. Adams would be HUGE to have for one year to fill in the middle.

Haley...Noble... You can stick as many forks as you want in Adams but he would still start for us.

June 1st cuts are coming soon and when we cut LB Trotter we will have some cap space to sign a good DT like Adams. There might be a surprise D-lineman cut and we could choose. I would think Adams might like to come here because of Def. Coordinator Williams.
