Bronco's the key to our future?
I don't know what the deal was, I've heard mixed things about what involved the Duckett trade, some say that if the picks are close together then we switch 1st rounders and dont give up a fourth rounder, and others say that if the picks are far apart then we switch 1st rounders and dont give up a fourth rounder. Well if it is the ladder, the the Skins might have significantly less hope next year. If the Broncos get a real high pick, and we get a real low one, then we wont get a ringer and we wont be able to get much if we trade down. I don't know whether I want the Broncos to win or lose, and I don't know if I want the Skins to win or lose, but I do know that I want that low pick.

Re: Bronco's the key to our future?
We should be rooting for Denver to win. We swap 1st rounders with Denver only if the value difference between their first rounder and ours equates to a third rounder or lower. The NFL has a point rating system used to measure the value of draft choices, and that is how the value difference will be determined.

Re: Bronco's the key to our future?
from what ive heard it seems likely the picks would have to be in the twenties or high teens to switch. we arent going to lose a top 10 pick for a 20th pick or later that is for sure

Scroll down to see the points system. I'm pretty sure we owe them 260 points.

Re: Bronco's the key to our future?
if that is true stevo then lets say we got the 10th pick. the farthest we would switch to would be 17th and im pretty sure the broncos will be somewhere in the 20s. if we got the 15th pick we could drop all the way to 26th tho...
hey if we were to switch tho would we recoup our 3rd rounder? if so then its really not that bad since its all based on the value chart and should be equal... it would essentially be like trading down from 10th to 17th plus a 3rd rounder and duckett
