Mood of the Day.
Anyone else waking up this morning pumped up? I haven't been able to sit still since I woke up at 5:30. First thing to put on was my CP jersey. I'm seriously pumped up for today's game. How bout you?

Re: Mood of the Day.
I'm definitely anxious. My wife has given me a "to-do" list, and I'm trying to knock off all the easy items now and put off the rest until tomorrow.

It is great to wake up knowing we are 3 wins away from the Super Bowl.

Re: Mood of the Day.
Same thing happened to me except I made it till 6:30 and when I woke up I knew there was no going back to sleep. I've got like twenty something years of football fandom racing around my brain at a million miles an hour.

Re: Mood of the Day.
I woke up at 6:30 and I never wake up that early unless I set the alarm clock. I suppose I can start getting ready and looking my best for the big dance...it's going to be a cold mof'ing day.

Re: Mood of the Day.
I think I am going to head out on the motorcycle this morning and clear the head. Very excited for this game and hope we leave it all out on the field.

Re: Mood of the Day.
This game can't start fast enough for me. I'm ready to roll.
I had an interesting day at work yesterday. Everyone here knows I'm huge fan and I received numerous well wishes from co-workers and even a few members of the public who came in to apply for gun permits. While receiving well wishes from others may seem common place to most of you because you live in the area, it's especially uplifting for me. We aren't inundated with the Redskins around here anymore thanks to the Panthers, so when you encounter others who share your passion, it's like finding a long lost friend. I had one elderly lady come in to apply who was originally from DC. When she saw my Skins shirt I had on, she immediately lights up and starts cheering, "Go Skins!" Ah... a kindred spirit, I thought. She gets it. She understands. After processing her application and I tell her goodbye, she turned, winked and shuffled away pumping her fist in the air as she walked through the door. Go get 'em granny. I'm right there with ya. |

Re: Mood of the Day.
I've been pacing all morning. I'm gonna go hit the gym for a few hours. I gotta throw some weights around and get some of this nervous energy out.
