Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet

Come on, she compared Snyder to a little boy. While I don't agree with how Snyder is running the Skins like a circus, I do assume he's at least TRYING to do what he thinks is right for the team (and Im neutral on whether what he's doing is wrong or right).

Sally Jenkins really needs to be put in a burlap bag and beaten for a while. I can't respect anyone's opinion who gets their jollies (and their paycheck) by crapping on the local team, IN the mother-loving local paper.

Whatevs.

I read that article and my only surprise is that she didn't release this article sooner than what she did. She ranks up there with Pastabelly.

I agree that was a good article by Jenkins. One of her best in a long time.

Just curious. Did Pasquarelli ever apologize to the Taylor family for jumping the gun when it came out that Sean was shot? Pasquarelli had no problem saying it was because of Sean's past. Any respect I may have had for him as a journalist went out the window that day.

It's a piece of crap article. Maybe she should start threads here, she'd fit right in.

All she says basically is "I don't know what happened but I'm going to take a lot of shot at Snyder because I have nothing better to do"

Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet

Pure trash. She knows nothing more than any of us. This is par for the course for her, earning her paycheck by trashing the Skins with little facts or logic to back up her stupid one-liners. How is comparing Snyder to a little kid with all the toy references and 80s kids stuff "insightful journalism". She's probably just pissed no one at Redskins Park will talk to her dumb-ass. She's our local version of Len Pastabelly, a mean-spirited, spiteful, angry person.

Her article could've been written by cut-and-paste from many of the uneducated posts we've seen here since Gibbs resigned. Since I found the WarPath I have no need to read the Post or anything from any of its writers other than JLC. I'm surprised Jenkins is still on the Post's payroll. Has she written anything positive about the Skins in the last few years. I sure don't recall anything.

Re: Sally Jenkins' Best article yet

If it bothers us so much that others in the media world are always being so critical of Dan Snyder and our beloved Redskins, then we must be reminded of the fact that "charitty starts at home". I'm pretty sure Snyder does not visit fan forums but there probably are some media types that do, and take their cue from us.......[and say]

We find it truly amazing how some Redskins fans can be so critical of their owner, and the method in which he operates, yet find it offensive when others outside the organization echo the same sentiments, and when they do, the backlash is on.

Shortly, someone will start a new thread complaining about how & why the media is always spinning bad tidings about the Redskins.

Well, I see this statement differently. Smootsmack said "Maybe she should start threads here, she'd fit right in." Maybe I am completely misunderstanding it.

I think he was comparing the negativity in the article to the negativity that often fills the boards around here.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

The frantic defense of Lil' Danny and his 50-62 record is quite comical.
