Taylor, Boulware Having Big Impact

I hate to sound obnoxious (as I usually do), but before the draft I said Boulware was one of the best LBs in the draft and most people said I was crazy. This guy is now playing safety, but has been the big play guy I expected to see. I wish we had not traded all of our picks and been able to pick him up.

dude, don't be a hater. just wait till we play green bay. taylor will have about 3 int's in that game alone. we all have faith in your intuition but let time be the judge.

Certainly I'd like to see more of our draft picks stay put, and I still believe that one day, trading away second and third rounders year after year will come back to bite us. Brunell's trade comes immediately to mind.

I don't think any rational person will still try to argue that his signing and consequential draft pick give-up was a wise decision. After six weeks into the regular season and a game in which he threw 8 of 22 and 95 yards passing against the lowly Bears serves to indicate.

Still, I'm not sure that after spending a draft pick on the highest rated safety coming out of college, we would have turned around to pick Boulware and move him to safety too. The pick likely would have gone elsewhere, like the defensive line perhaps.

I don't think Ramsey thinks we should axe Taylor, we coulda gotten Boulwere later. He's a great player and could give us a talented, but very young, DB situation.
