We can look at the bright side out of things and at least take some comfort in the fact that he is getting it done now instead of waiting to hope it heals it self. (like another Redskin)

Not good on Hank. Obvious setback. Interesting to see how he responds and how the hip may impact his speed.
Pencil in Monty at center, not bad to be set there. Lets see how the rest of the Oline falls in.

I don't care what Hank needed as long as it heals properly.
and I'm glad they got Montgomery locked up, starter or backup he can still contribute to the team.

I googled "hip surgery recovery NFL", and came up with below. Not sure if they had torn labrums..
1) Aaron Hernandez hip surgery 2/2011 - 79 catches 910yds in 2011 2) Eddie Royal hip surgery 2/2011 - was fine in 2011, numbers down from Tebowmania Hope Hank recovers well for a good sophomore season, we need good WRs and haven't had a good tall one in years. |
