People are saying that KFFL.com is reporting that SF is close to a deal (parameters) with Aaron Rodgers

Huh? I thought Smith was the guy everyone wanted including the 9ers. Bad move to settle for your 3rd option when value is at a premium to begin with and you need players everywhere. Of course KFFL blows so who knows if this is BS or not.

I know this, the Rogers camp is giving the 9er's a significant pay cut for a #1, the reasoning behind it is they think that if the 49er's don't pick him he could slide to the late first rd which would cost him even more money so they are doing everything they can to entice the 9er's to go with Rogers.
