Week 3: Redskins v Giants

Who is getting cut to make room for Culliver?

A lot of people on twitter are saying one of the back up OL but I wouldn't be surprised if Amerson is cut after his performance against Miami.

I was thinking that too. On short weeks I thought we had a loose off the books kinda rule to savor the win for 24 hours.

You cut Blackmon before Rogers. Rogers has played good for us. He's good in the slot

Big trap game though. I'm not going to make a prediction this week. Just hopeful for a win

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants

This is one of those "prove we are a different team" kind of games.

This team has a habit of laying eggs in New York, especially after they seem to have some kind of momentum. Also, at 0-2, the Giants are going to be pushing the desperation button, probably going to be opening up their offense trying to push the ball downfield to get points.

Historically this is a game we feel good about going into for good reason, and then get humbled on national TV and come out of thinking "same ol' redskins, ugh"

I think on paper and from what we have seen from both teams so far, we have a great opportunity to go in there and beat this NYG team up, but finishing drives and getting TDs, not FGs will be essential.

I will go out on a limb here and say:

Redskins 23
NYG 16

Lets do thiiiiiiiiiiis!

Romo and Bryant out, and the Boys are now led by a guy who once got sacked by a giant American flag (look it up).

Football SVPER GENIVS Chip Kelly's Donald Duck offense offense circling the drain.

Giants not looking particularly impressive.

Don't look now, guys, but you might get a shot at taking the East.

Teams playing road games on Thursday night on a short week in a city with two NFL teams and home to a current presidential candidate are 6-31-1 against the spread.

It is a huge trap game.

That being said, we are going to win.

They have a banged up DL, and injuries at LB and CB. I think we will move the ball similar to the previous weeks, keep it close and win a tight one.

I will also predict our D keeps Larry Donnell's name from being mentioned as a pro bowl TE. Polar opposite of last year.

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants

yeah, the east did just kind of open up. i think winning 4 games in division is pretty doable with the state of the other teams right now.

this game is winnable, we just have to avoid old habits.

"Trap" game? We haven't beaten the Giants in forever. This isn't a trap game it's a NFC East game that we have to win if you think this year is going to be different. In fact, if this team can win the next two I will get a little excited this year.

As of now I'm happy for the win but until we actually win a few games in a row I won't believe we have turned it around.

Love the new style of smash mouth ball on offense and defense. But I need to see more than two weeks

The East has been a really interesting division for the past four years--not only was the champion different every year, but all four teams have won it in four years. Very open.

Yeah I'm not talking giants until Tuesday. I'm enjoying this win.
