Chargers week

Well, we have JD5 confirmed to be back Sunday, but McLaurin and Brown are out and didn't travel with the team today. Same for Cosmi, although that was expected. John Bates will be back, and even though Sainristil and Deebo were on the injury report, it appears they're fine.

The Charges O-line is really depleted -- we need to pressure Herbert enough so that he doesn't pick apart the back end of our D. They're a good team, for sure, but their 3 wins haven't exactly been dominating. The only beat the Raiders 20-9 and lost to the Giants 21-18. They had a squeaker of a win against the Broncos (23-20) at home, and a quality win against the Chiefs in week 1 27-21. 27 points is their highest output so far.

Any given Sunday.

LFG!

2 good teams coming off bad losses. I think we keep pressure on Herbert, and JD5 makes winning time plays.
27-21 Washington goes to 3-2 one game behind the Eagles who get their wings clipped by Denver.

That's awesome. And I hope you both have a lot to cheer about.

Going to be a very tough game. Sucks McLaurin and Brown are out. We really need JD5 to ball out. Injuries making this a tough year already. Expecting defeat but would be ecstatic for victory.

Re: Chargers week

Another AP whiff, bringing back Brown. A waste of a roster spot.

Re: Chargers week

Not sure this defence can get enough stops to win this...

We lose 23-27

Re: Chargers week

I saw a quick clip on Facebook showing how confused our defense gets by any kind of motion by the offense, I don’t know who was narrating it, but he couldn’t believe how bad our players were that they couldn’t get it. He said if he was an opposing team, every play would contain motion because our defense can’t handle it.
With Jayden Daniels, anything is possible, but coming off of injury, I don’t see it. He still doesn’t look like the same player from last year.Philly in playoffs shut him down,he looked decent against Giants but not great, then Green Bay shut him down, hopefully he’ll come around.Chargers 31-13

Re: Chargers week

Hard to not be concerned about the defense after the Atlanta game. Injuries not helping at all. Maybe they get going this week, but Herbert is a stud with a big arm. Just think this will be a tough game. Would be the perfect game for JD5 to get going like Cincy last year.
