Hopefully "The Hammer" will be starting MLB by week 4. Or be a special teams assassin till he's ready to take over. A linebacking core of Arrington, McCune and Washington is definately something to get excited about; all three are young, energetic playmakers who could wreck havoc on opposing offenses for the next 5 years.

Hopefuly he will be here five because that means we extended his contract. That means he was productive on the field.

3yrs 1.05 mil
125,000 signing bonus
230,000 2005
310,000 2006
385,000 2007

Is this about right for where he was drafted and his position.

I hope he's not starting by week 4. I really, really like the pick-up (especially in the 5th round), but he's not going to be ready to start for quite some time. My guess is he doesn't start until mid-way through next season and that is if Holdman or Marshall don't excel.
