The Ade Speaks!

I've bashed our friend, and fellow forum member, Ade Jimoh hard, and often, but in the washpost article he speaks words to live by:

"Ade Jimoh, a trusted special teams player, said he could not single out a particular nuance the team needed to prioritize. There were flaws -- sometimes major -- on all fronts.

"Everything is on the top of the pecking order," Jimoh said. "If we get penalties it kills your field position. If we don't cover well, then we're giving up field position, and if we don't return well, then there's no way we're going to get field position, and then you put the offense in a hole. They all have to work together as a whole. We can't focus on one thing, and let another area slack, because then you still have problems. We have to focus on all three areas at the same time."

Almost makes you think: "By God, I think he's got it!"

Now all we have to do is execute that ideology.

Re: The Ade Speaks!

Was away from the computer this weekend and just saw the good news that The Ade made the cut - again! Once again, all of the jibbidy-dibbity on the forums about The Ade not making the team was wrong... you just can't cut The Demon!

Can't wait for a career year for The Ade!

GO SKINS!

The Ade's the best. When his football career is over he should definitely go on Survivor.

Ade, since you follow the site, we want you to chime in on this. You've gotten burned on some big plays in the past. What have you done to improve? Have you worked on your technique? Worked on your speed? Was it mental error? What are you doing to prove the naysayers wrong? I think I speak for just about everyone here when I say that we WANT you to make big plays and succeed, but throw us a bone here. What can we expect to see this season?

Who's throwing bones? Are you throwing it at me? I can't see it! Man, this is just like being on the football field...

What can you expect to see this season??? Well, I was planning for this to be a surprise, but what the hell... I've got two new moves planned for this season:

#1: "The Sloppy Sanchez" - This is a special teams play. What I do is run up behind someone who is not looking (they're watching the play or something), slam into them from behind and then sit on their head.

#2: "The Ade 360" - This is a coverage move where I do a full 360 spin. In theory, the WR will be so amazed by the move that he won't catch the wide-open pass for a touchdown. I'm still working on the finish - I'm thinking a karate-chop move that kinda says: "Ta-Da!"

Ok - there you go. You get the world exclusive on my new moves. I won't guarantee when they'll happen, only that they will. (Gotta keep you coming back to the games, right!)
