Skins vs. 49ners

This is a game the redskins MUST win and we must win BIG. If we cannot blow this niner team out, we have serious issues on offense and defense as the Niners have just about the worst offense and the worst defense. If the Eagles can beat them 42-3 and the Colts can beat them 28-3, we should at least be able to beat them 24-3, hell maybe even force the rookie QB into coughing up the ball and getting a couple defensive TDs...

we need to win. Dallas, NYG, and Philly should lose this week, so if we win, we are in first alone.

if we don't win it will probably lose us the season.

Yep. I agree. This is a game we CANT lose. We are the better football team in this game, we are better in just about every aspect of the game. We have a better QB, RB, WR, OL, LB's, and secondary. Probaboly better special teams. The only way we lose this game is if we dont come ready to play. Bottom line. If we lose this game, it will come into effect down the stretch.

I don't see us losing this game, but I don't see us scoring 50 points. I'm thinking 21-9.

If we lose, I'll proabbly go hang myself....okay, maybe not. But this is a game we can not lose. I can see it being a decisive victory, but not a blow out. With the way we've been progressively scoring points, it'd be a good bet that we get 21+!

Re: Skins vs. 49ners

There is no doubt that Joe Gibbs knows the 49ers do not match u w/ the Skins. And an experoenced coach knows players will get lazy and cockey before a game like this. Joe Gibbs is a coach who will keep the players focused and will be prepared for Sunday. The 49ers give up almost 350 passing yards per game and the way we shreaded the poor chiefs secondary this will be another huge passing game for Brunnel and company. And don't forget this game is at FedEx field and there is no doubt it will be rocking!

Re: Skins vs. 49ners

I'll say one thing, if we turn it over 3-4 times and we continue to not get any takeaways, we could easily be looking at an upset.

It would be nice if we could get a couple of monkeys off our backs this week and get on the plus side of the turnover battle and get some rushing TDs.

Re: Skins vs. 49ners

Will Ladell be back this week? I don't see he or Portis fumbling. Just watch Brunell's backside so he doesn't get hit and we won't turn it over.

Re: Skins vs. 49ners

Portis runs for two and Brunell throws for two and we win 28 to 3. This game comes at a perfect time and Gibbs and the Skins take full advantage.

Re: Skins vs. 49ners

Right, stats don't matter. I mean we thought we'd be able to run all over KC with their crappy defense. Turnovers are all that matters. Whether we force any turnovers is irrelevant against SF, it matters that we don't give UP any.

If we don't give up any, I feel very confident we'll win in a deciding fashion.

I'll be upset with anything less that utter domination by the Skins.

42 - 0.

but we have a habit of playing down to the ,uuurrr up too the level of the opposing team we're playing ........god forbid we blow somebody out(i really thought k.c.was gonna be a blow out )jesus we play our guts out (turnovers)and stats dont mean squat,we still lost......are we giving ourselves every opportunity too win(arrington), i can think of someone who creates turnovers and picks them off as well as recovering fumbles....
