Brian Mitchell on Redskins fans

Hey all,

Did anyone else hear the Brian Mitchell Show today on 980? Brian Mitchell said, and I quote: "Even last year, there were more Dallas Cowboy jerseys than Redskin jerseys at FedEx field." This was part of a larger coversation between BMitch and Bram Weinstein about whether or not Washington DC was a true sports town (Brian cited Philadelphia as being one). Bram - who I actually like a lot - was shocked, and disagreed vehemently, but BMitch stuck to his guns.

What do people think about this, primarily the comment regarding the Redskins? I wasn't at the game, but I refuse to believe that this is even close to true.
