At least it's out there
I saw this earlier today. While one might argue either way, it sure is fun to have the NFC East cast in such a light again. It's been too many years. Now we're talking about the Skins being in first place in the toughest division in football again. Damn I love it.
What we've learned so far This season has revealed a lot about players, coaches Jeffri Chadiha Inside the NFL Posted: Tuesday October 25, 2005 10:25AM; Updated: Tuesday October 25, 2005 3:00PM ....blah blah blah.... 10. The AFC West is still the best division in the NFL. I'm not falling for all this talk about the NFC East re-establishing its dominance. Denver will still win 12 games this season. Kansas City will become more dangerous once its offense gets healthy. |

Jeffri Chadiha wrote that. Come on now, doesn't he know how to spell his own name?
It's JeffREY.

Re: At least it's out there
The only thing I can say about this is that I am glad the Skins aren't in the AFC West or they would have 2 division losses so far. I don't know about the Raiders, but the Chargers, Broncos and Chiefs are playing really well. What is the record so far for the AFC West against the NFC East this year? 4-5 I think with the NFC East ahead by one game. Again, the Skins have done nothing to help the cause.

Re: At least it's out there
next thing you know, he'll proclaim the NFC North the "phoenix" of the league, as it will arise from the ashes of mediocrity and have a team actually finish over .500.

Re: At least it's out there
Wait, aren't the Raiders in the AFC West? And didn't the Giants just beat the Broncos? Again we have a media moron confusing opinion with fact. True, the Skins did lose both of their games against AFC West teams, but didn't we have a chance to win both games on the road? I'm trying to figure out how the AFC West, or any division for that matter, is better than the NFC East, but the numbers seem to say the NFC EAst is once again a beast.
Here's a head to head breakdown Coaches- Parcells, Gibbs, Reid, Coughlin vs Vermeil, Turner, Schottenheimer, Shanahan Since Gibbs alone equals the three titles these guys bring I'm going to have to go with the NFC East. Plus one HOFer to none. This season the NFC East is 16-9 vs 14-12. QBs - Bledsoe, Manning, Brunell, McNabb vs Green, Collins, Brees, Plummer Brunell, Bledsoe and McNabb are all in the top 10 of QB rating, Brees is highest at 8 and is only 1.8 points better than McNabb. Edge NFC East RBs - Jones, Barber, Portis, Westbrook vs Holmes, Jordan, Tomlinson, Anderson/Bell I'd give an edge to the AFC West solely because the Eagles don't run the ball and LT is a beast. WRs- Glenn, Burress, Moss, Owens vs Kennison, Moss, McCardell, Smith Let's just say that the NFC East foursome all have more yards than any of the AFC quartet. Adv - NFC East TE's - Witten, Shockey, Cooley, Smith vs Gonzalez, Anderson, Gates, Alexander With Gonzalez non-existent this season this is a no-brainer. Defense - well the third ranked defense in the NFC East (philly at 20) is still above the highest ranked defense in the AFC WEst (sd at 21) I think this proves that most members of the media just do not know what they are talking about. The NFC East has the best overall winning percentage .640 to the NFC South's .615 and the AFC West's .538. So again, the numbers don't lie. The NFC Beast is back, it's the only division in which all the teams are above .500. there are no little sisters in the NFC Beast, the media can only deny the truth for so long. Re: At least it's out there
That is definitly a tough division. Our division has been beating up on san fran, and they did beat us both times we played.
