Re: Goodell Now Object of Derision

I bet it wasn't really a ball that broke that vase....? I bet one of those role model players accidently busted a cap on that thing, now they are all pointing the finger at Clinton and he was at pratice, so it couldn't have been him....???? Or could it

I bet they all get time on the hill!

Re: Goodell Now Object of Derision

"See, this is exactly why he told us never to play ball in the house," said Manning, who was repeatedly informed by the other players that if he told on Jones he would be beaten up. "I feel bad for lying to commissioner Goodell, and I hope he forgives me. But I can understand if he decides to hate me forever."

lol

I thought it was a funny article. I like reading sports satire.

Classic. The Onion rules. I get most of my news from the Onion and the Daily show.

Re: Goodell Now Object of Derision

Guy's an ass!!!!!!! Booze at the games, but not at other functions. Every NFL stadium sells beer to the masses, creating a bunch of raving idiots as the game progresses. I am surprised we don't have any of those soccer riots here in the states. Every NFL game, but one that I have attended, I have been stuck sitting near a bunch of idiots totally smashed before they came in and got even more tanked up during the game. A couple times fights broke out and the cops escorted the perps away. Most times the morons couldn't stand up. I felt bad for those parents of younger kids that had to watch that stuff. IF Goodell wants to ban the stuff, ban it from the games. Oh, that's right, Coors, Bud, and co are major sponsors, so that is out the door. Goodell wants to be Bush I guess and be able to dictate to the folks he can have direct control over the players and coaches. I am not for the banning of beer at the games by the way, but if beer is going to get banned from any venues, it should be from the games. Kids are present and I have seen too many folks reduced to acting like morons under the influence at games.

What amazes me is that nobody picked up on this story: On the RAC: Washington Redskins Fan Club
