Harrington is looking great in Cincy game...
I know it's preseason, and I never watch preseason (I should now say rarely), but man he is looking very good. Could this possibly be a good thing for the Falcons?

He's looking pretty good...but damn, if Roddy White keeps dropping those easy passes

Slippery hands seem to be desireable trait among Atlanta receivers. I wonder if the Falcons use some sort of oil-based hand soap in their players locker rooms?

Yeah, that last one was placed perfectly in his basket and still dropped it. That was an easy TD!

Re: Harrington is looking great in Cincy game...
He has been looking good, but all I heard before I finally had to turn it off was:
"Vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick... vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...v ick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vi ck...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vic k...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick ...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick. ..vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick.. .vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick... vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...v ick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vi ck...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick...vick..." They completely ignored that great Norwood TD because Mort wouldn't shut his yapper about Vick. I understand that it is a game in ATL and all but enough is enough. Talk about the damn game or the games this past weekend! I blame SmootSmack!

If Harrington plays like he did tonight during the season, how many wins do you think the Falcons can push out?

Re: Harrington is looking great in Cincy game...
Looking at their schedule, I'd say 4-5 wins, maybe 6 if Tampa and Carolina suck really bad.

Re: Harrington is looking great in Cincy game...
Joey will throw a ton of picks in the regular season. He will revert to his Lions form soon enough. He is a good backup, but not much more. ALthough most ex Lions thrive once they are away from Detroit, so who knows. I do wish him the best though. He got screwed along the same lines as Patrick did. Got thrown into the firestorm as a rookie with a crappy team.

Why is he allowed to play now at all? By the way, nice play just now by former Skin Nic Clemons

Re: Harrington is looking great in Cincy game...
Joey Harrington will force teams to respect the passing game more than Vick could. This could be good for the Falcons. If they can keep a decent running game going, Harrington will be ok for them. I think they will do better than they would have with Vick honestly. It is probably a blessing in disguise that Vick won't be there this year.

Harrington definately looked good tonight. The guy unquestionably has talent, but he is inconsistent and doesn't make the best of decisions. Give him time.

Dude...the comparison between Ramsey and Harrington is laughable. Ramsey wasn't that talented, and did nothing special at Tulane. Harrington came in with amazing talent out of Oregon. Also, Ramsey was the 3rd stringer to start the season (something Harrington never had the luxury of) and was not "thrown in" as you suggest. He didn't even play until week 5, then played only 3 games (week 5, 6, and 7). From weeks 8-13 he had 2 attempts (if I recall, both were half time prayers), then he played weeks 14-17. So how does playing in less than half the season (7 games) actually compare with Harrington actually playing right off the bat???? Ramsey sucked, always will, get over it already.
