Bodiford OUT

Shaun Bodiford, We Hardly Knew Ye

Skins have let the young WR go to make room for DeMulling. Bodiford was claimed off waivers after 53-man rosters were set but not active for either game. Has great speed and return-ability (not a real word but you catch my drift), but with 6 WRs, something had to give.

Will be interesting to see if Caldwell plays this weekend - I think he will - and how this all shakes down for the wide receiver, who seems to get phased out to me. If Randle El keeps making plays on deep stuff to compliment Moss, and Thrash is in a lot of three-wide sets when they run the ball. If Caldwell can be a target guy in the slot on third down packages, then I'm not sure that the WR doesn't become, as the Brits like to say, "surplus to requirements."

Re: Bodiford OUT

Peace Bodiford, good luck elsewhere. I think we signed him just because we wanted 5 receivers on the roster, but I guess he was the odd man out to make room for Demulling.

Re: Bodiford OUT

Hopefully Lloyd is the next WR to go. Once Caldwell has a few touches Lloyd is really going to be buried on the depth chart.

i think if they realy liked this guy, he will be signed to the practice squad, assuming he clears waivers

The thing with that is he will be here through next year most likely right? I remember someone pulled up some cap numbers and the hit we would take is too much.

Yeah I didn't mean he will be going anywhere this year, but whenever it does happen, he should be the next WR to go.

I agree as well unfortunately. I still have some B.Lloyd left in me though. Maybe a drop or two, I am just hoping he has that 200 yard breakout game and everyone is great, but it just doesnt seem like that will ever happen. I just wish he ran his routes better or something, because teams are going to key in on ARE and Moss. But then again, I guess that's why we got Caldwell here. He might drop passes but atleast he isn't a punk bitch..

Re: Bodiford OUT

Yeah, it seems like just about every fan in DC is sick of Brandon Lloyd, me included. I look forward to seeing him playing for someone else, he really didn't make a good impression. He reminds me of T.O., only much less talented.
