Beck to The Future?

Redskins extend John Beck | ProFootballTalk.com

Interesting..or it could just be a bookkeeping necessity

In protest, Lotus has said he will not shave his beard until Bartel gets the respect he deserves

Re: Beck to The Future?

Does Bartel still have to travel to Arizona? Or will he just decide to stay home?

I know he will still have a chance to get some stuff on tape so he might as well make the trip.

Damn straight.

We know that Bartel is a roster lock. Obviously McNabb is getting cut.

Re: Beck to The Future?

Obviously Bartel is gone, but would this have any effect on Grossman given that Shanny generally only keeps two quarterbacks?

Re: Beck to The Future?

Shanny will probably go 3 QBs. If Donovan gets banged up in the future and Rexy starts to stink up the place, he needs a third option.

Just so everyone knows, Daseal's last name is Beck, and he feels this is the only way he will ever have a jersey with his name on it.

Seriously.

Let's not forget that Rex couldn't stay healthy for most of his early career in Chicago so if McNabb has an extended absence and Rex gets hurt, we need a #3.

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Re: Beck to The Future?

We need someone to wash the taint left by Jeff George off of the #3 jersey just like we needed someone to wash the taint left by Heath Shuler on the #5 jersey.
