Skins will beat Steelers!!!

Luxorreb is back in town from a US tour.
I'm predicting major upset in Ketchup land on Sunday!
Call me crazy but I got a feeling...
Hitting Portis on a screen instead of Betts is the answer.
Skins win by 11 pts.

WOW. Bold prediction and I like it, but sorry don't agree with it. Skins may not score an offensive touchdown again this week. Steelers win going away 35-6 as it gets ugly in the second half.

That rookie QB in Pittsburgh isn't immortal and I think our defense as depleted as it is will pressure him. Look to see Gibbs giving Ramsey a few more opporunties to go downfield. RosinlongnamethatIcan'trememberburger has to have a bad game eventually and I think its going to come this week. Cincy played them tough last week and had opportunities to win the game and when Pitts beat NE and Philly...you gotta know that their defenses are not THAT great.

I expect this game to be close and if the Redskins do actually drop this game, it will probably be the same story..they drop it in the 4th quarter, but I am going to say that the Redskins will find a way to edge Pittsburgh out 12-10.

Let's just say I wouldn't lay down a bet for the Redskins and that's even with us getting 10.5 points (which are the odds this week).

Steelers win easy 27-10

I sure hope you guy's are right. I will be at the game. I am going with an old friend of mine(He's a huge Steelers fan) we bet last year that the looser has to buy drinks after the game.
If we can some how win I will be in Heaven! I know it's not very likely. But a guy can dream can't he?

If we only had an aggressive offense we could possibly pull this out, but we don't and we can't. Let's build for next season.

The skin's can't be judged on talent right now we have plenty, it's nice to say we are going to beat this one or that one, but we can't beat team's we are supposed to beat let alone a team we are not. Gibb's has shown to much of a reluctance to open thing's up he's stuck on ultra conservative play which isn't going to work, because every team we play is strictly game planning for it, until we start going down field that's how it's going to remain, our line need's help opening some holes and that help has to be in the form of a consistant passing game. I don't see that right now against anyone, let alone the Steeler's.

If our offencse doesn't score points, it will get ugly fast. I think our D is on the verge of giving up. They give the offense every opportunity and it's always for nothing. If the offense can score 17 points, I think we have a chance. If we score 6 again, watch Bettis rumble for a couple of late TD's against our demorolized defense late in the game to make it a blow out.

I agree our defense is on the verge of throwing their hand's in the air their frustration is mounting and ready to explode.

For those who think the Skins will win outright, you can get 7-1 odds on that at various on-line sports books.

Pittsburgh wins here 20-13.

Keep an eye on Troy Palumaulo (sp?) who is the Pitts safety. This guy is REALLY good. He's "Roy Williams good" and "Brian Dawkins good" and "Ed Reed good". He came out of USC and was a rookie last year but did not play a lot due to "nagging injuries" whatever they are...

Riggo44, I suggest you try and get your friend to his limit before the game is over. It'll definately save you some money.

I hope the Skins' defense does not just toss their hands in the air because there is a precendnt they should try to emulate.

There was a team that went almost a full month without scoring an offensive TD; I think they went over 15 quarters with nothing but field goals from the offense. As I recall, they went 2-2 in that 4 game stretch because the drefense just stoned the other treams cold and scored a TD or two on its own.

That team went on to win the Super Bowl that year; it was the Baltimore Ravens. Really dominant defenses find ways to score if the offense can't
