Skins vs Saints predictions

Opening in the Superdome against a Saints team with a huge chip on their shoulders is going to be a really tough task. I think we can hang with them, but will ultimately fall short. If we pull the upset, RG3 mania is just going to explode. I think RG3 will play well, but Brees will just make a few more plays.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

Glad to see the first prediction is a realistic one. I think our secondary gets exposed by the league's best passing attack. Also not sure any of our LBs/Safeties have the chops to hang with Jimmy Graham. I'm a bit more pessimistic-

Saints 35
Skins 21

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

Hmmm I actually see us winning this one.

Skins 17 Aint's 10

I think the D hangs tough. The pass rush gets to DB. RGIII starts slow but puts up the final TD for the win.

DC ignites into dreams of the Super Bowl. Then next week we lay a egg against STL.

The Saint's owe us for the last time we played; we had that game!

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

I think the line is Saints -9.5. Realistically the game will probably be

Saints 31
Redskins 21

Obviously an upset by the Skins would be huge, but I don't see it happening.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

One of our RBs run for 100 yards, RGIII throws for 250 and 2 TDs, Saints turn ball over twice, including Richard Crawford's game sealing pick with 1:33 left.

We know what they're gonna do. All the emotion in the world isn't gonna keep DB off his ass. Redskins-20
Saints-17
Expecting a couple of picks from our D.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

I'm going to be watching the game with a friend who's a Saints fan, and I refuse to believe that I will have to put up with his shit-talking until the next time we play them, so my prediction is we will be up by 21 at the end of the first half, and we cruise to a comfortable win 31-13. We're gonna be sending so much heat at Drew Brees he's gonna think G.W. put a bounty on him from beyond the sideline.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

The Saints are the most explosive passing team in the league.
The Redskins have a bunch of guys who should be working at Footlocker in their secondary.
Brees throws for 500+ yards.

I don't think Brees will be confused by a defensive scheme that has not evolved since Kevin Greene was a Steeler.

42 to 13 Saints.

Re: Skins vs Saints predictions

We control the ball w/ a 180+ yard rushing effort and 35 minutes TOP
We win the turnover battle
We control field position through special teams
We manage the game well and control penalties
We get 3 explosive plays

Burgundy and Gold victory!
27-24
