Talking TO in Washington?

The Eagles won't re-negotiate T. Owens contract.

How long can it be before the Redskins trade for TO?

Can't wait to hear the rants and raves on this one.

No one wants him. We don't need the headache.

Re: TO in Washington?

I think you already know how easily this is going to get dismissed. We have no cap room. TO is an asshole. HE wasn't the reason the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl. Gains versus losses will be ridiculous in favor in losses. We're building a franchise, not signing one-hit wonders like Snyder tried.

TO is one of the best receivers in the NFL, that said, the financial and emotional burden isn't worth it.

Re: TO in Washington?

Right. If he's not happy with that kind of contract and that kind of QB throwing to him, I don't know what would make him happy in Washington. TO is basically a mercenary, he cares NOTHING about team.

Re: TO in Washington?

We have had this conversation several times and the answer is. Its not going to happen. If was two or three years ago we know Danny Boy would be flying him to DC with the red carpet out. Its nice to know we don't run after every player we think that we can buy.

It's the default thread when we don't have any news for a while.

Another good default thread would be no Fredex in Fedex. On The nfl channel they had called all the teams that were rumored to have an intrest in him. All nine teams encluding the Skins said they have no interest in him what so ever. They said his best chance to get picked up by a team is a team loosing a WR to injury.

Re: TO in Washington?

Malcolm - let's not overhype McNabb. TO made McNabb look good. He's an inaccurate passer and thanks to the perenially strong D Jim Johnson puts out there McNabb has a chance to do better. He's a good scrambler, but his arm isn't that great.

Re: TO in Washington?

He doesn't have great accuracy, but it seemed even pre-TO, that he put up great numbers. I don't know how or why, but he was Pro Bowl prior to TO.
