Brian Robinson traded
No surprise here. Probably a fair deal. B Rob was just nothing special.

Re: Brian Robinson traded
Considering I thought we were just going to out-right release him, getting a 6th rounder back is pretty good imo.
Definitely wasn't expecting anything more than 7th rounder.

Re: Brian Robinson traded
He’ll probably get playing time, as CMAC can’t stay healthy. Wish him well. He can still have a career as a backup.

Re: Brian Robinson traded
Nice to get something for him, even if it's just a 6th round pick.

Re: Brian Robinson traded
From my perspective, we traded Deebo for Brob plus a seventh.
Deebo cost us a 5th, BRob cost them a sixth. Deebo is one of a kind, Brob is one of 100

Re: Brian Robinson traded
Agree. Staff must be confident in Bill and Rodriguez. Will be interesting to monitor going forward. The sudden desire and realization of trading BRob sure came quick.

Re: Brian Robinson traded
Rodriguez can fill the same role and may be more effective especially if he can stay healthy, that was BR’s downfall

Re: Brian Robinson traded
Seems that way on the surface but I remember Kevin Sheehan saying months ago he thought this could happen. Whether he got that info from inside the building who knows.

Re: Brian Robinson traded
6th rounder beat my expectation
Better to get something than nothing. Good luck to Brob

Re: Brian Robinson traded
OK this adds $3Million in cap space this year. What are the Redskins going to do with it?

Re: Brian Robinson traded
At this point, the cap space isn't important. Robinson got replaced by a 7th rounder. And we traded him for a 6th rounder. We have an extra pick now. This trade was literally best case scenario based on the writing on the wall. Picks are valuable. Peters turned a cut into a 6th rounder. Especially important after trading away a couple 2026 picks.
