Stern said today on his Sirius show that this was one of the funniest movies he had seen in some time. I guess he got to go to a special preview.

They played it at the UMD theater a few weeks ago and it was free. There was a huge ass line and people had to get there a few hours before the showing. I knew somebody that held a spot for a few of us. It was cool to see it weeks before it came out. It is HILARIOUS. I strongly suggest everyone to watch it. Some jewish jokes might offend some but ali G is jewish. I heard they recorded our reactions to see what was funny and what wasn't and maybe they might change the final version a bit. There is a scene in a hotel room that made me laugh till it hurt.

I know one of the scenes was filmed at a car dealership in Gaithersburg (Criswell)...whether it makes the final cut or not, not sure. But I can't wait to see it.
There is a bidding war for the next Sasha Baron Cohen film, based on his character Bruno, based solely on the hype from the Borat movie.

yeah, lots of people in the theater were all getting jittery when the scene at criswell came up because a lot of people are from moco. I was like, is that..... Someone near me said it was the criswell in germantown. If it was in gaithersburg it is really funny because borat was looking for a hummer and my uncle bought his hummer from that exact dealership.
