Re: sleeping vs. eating
Someone is really bored today!!!
I'd probably say sleeping because if I'm eating really good food I tend to gorge myself to the point of sickness, and that overwhelms the memory of said good food. A good night's sleep or a perfectly timed nap can be the greatest thing in the world.

Re: sleeping vs. eating
Sleep is a weird thing that even too this day science really doesn't knew all that is involed in why we need it so bad. they knew what happens in sleep but why can't we accomplished that when we are awake.
When you think about how we are so tuned for survival but sleep is so important that our bodies are willing to completely shut down (thus making us vunarable to attack) to get sleep. |

Re: sleeping vs. eating
I wish we didn't have to eat or sleep at all. Imagine how convenient it would be, and how much time you'd save, if you didn't have to eat or sleep.
But, I prefer sleeping over eating.

Can't sleep a filet, and a baked pot.
I'll sleep when I'm dead.............or I run out of filets

Sleeping is far more enjoyable. In fact, I think I'm going to take a nap right now.

Re: sleeping vs. eating
Before kids, I would have said eating...but now that I have a kid, sleeping trumps eating by leaps and bounds.

Re: sleeping vs. eating
Here's the ultimate hypothetical.
You're trapped in prison, and there's no possibility for you to eat or sleep. It's been a week since you're last meal, and you haven't slept for days. You're then presented with two doors. Behind the first door lies a king sized perfect bed with a down comforter. The room is filled with a surreal ambiance that causes you to drift off by the very thought of entering the room. You're told that upon choosing this door, you will be granted a full nights rest and then released from prison after you wake. You may have an empty stomach, but you'll finally get some much needed rest. Then there lies the second door. Your told that the room behind this door is filled with every imaginable food you can think of. Everything from mashed potatoes to 10oz filets cooked to perfection. There are succulent fruits and rich desserts. The mouthwatering shmorgusboard dances in your brain as thoughts of gluttony cascade across your hypothalamus. It will truly be a day in ecstasy, albeit a tired one. Upon completion of you're feast, you will have to wait another 12 hours in prison without sleeping before being released. If you have to choose a door....which one do you choose?

Re: sleeping vs. eating
No way dude, if I'm that hungry there's no way I can fall asleep. If I miss a meal I'm crabby as hell. If I miss a good night's sleep, well that's just normal life!
