Lavar's crib in ESPN Magazine

Did anyone read the writeup on Lavar's crib in the last ESPN issue? He has 10 plasma TVs that are solely dedicated to displaying a loop of an aquarium (I think it said he had 43 flat screens total). He has over $300k invested in home electronics. I couldn't find the article online, but the magazine should still be on the shelves.

No wonder he was pissed about the $6.5 million bonus.

A fool and his money are easily parted.

That's odd, I searched before posting but didn't find any reference to the article in the forums. I saved it to give to a buddy of mine, but I could try to scan it in if anyone is interested. I don't think posting it here would be an option, but PM me if anyone wants it. The pages are oversized, so no promises on how it turns out.

Re: Lavar's crib in ESPN Magazine

not to beat a dead horse (sorry offiss)), but wouldn't it be funny if Lavar were to loop the clip of him hitting Aikman rather than a stupid aqarium. As you walk from room to room you are reminded that the dude is a beast. If you are going to have that many tv's in the house you might as well flaunt what got you those tv's.

I cant begrudge the guy. If I had the money I would probably spend it in similarly ridiculous ways.

I always found it odd that Scrooge had a butt load of coins and not a lot of dollars.

He did have dallors. He would just swim in his coins. You must keep in mind. Most of those old comics where written in the 40's and 50's. Back then you could buy a gallon of gas for like .10 cents. Coins ment a lot more back then.

Oh, I never read the comics. I just remember Ducktales. That was at least in the 1980s, the man should have been smoking cigars rolled in 100s.

Duck Tales was from the 80's. But it was based on the old Doanld Duck Disney comic books from the 40's & 50's. They really didn't change a thing but the stories.
