WR Screen... when will we see it tomorrow?

Ok, this is an unoffical poll, but I was watching the Skins/Eagles game last week with a fellow Skins fan and I correctly pre-called one of the WR screens to Moss before it happened. We try it every week, but Gibbs seems to pick his spots, so my question is when will see this week? Early? Late? Everyone knows we run it, but it seems to work most of the time.

I hope it's a pure audible. We can expect Ronde Barber to line up in front of Moss every time this week. If he is playing up, that's a very dangerous pass. If he's playing back, it's at least an eight yard pickup.

I read the Skins usually have three options on every pass play and the play goes based on what defense they get. Maybe if they get press coverage they go to a different option on that play. In fact I'd bet that's normal operating procedure week in and week out on that play. Let's hope we don't actually try to throw it into press coverage.

I'd say later on. They'll be prep'd for it so early on I wouldn't want to run it. In fact I'd love to run a fake of some sort out of it's formation early on and then follow it up with a few different types of plays from the same formation to loosen up the coverage on it so early in the 3rd we can run it and watch Moss bitchify Barber on it hopefully.

Man when that play works it is a thing of beauty. But I have to admit I cringe everytime it is run. One player out of position and it is "6" for the other team.

We will see it, several times I think.

"Bitchify" is my new favorite word.

I have seen a couple teams in the past run that pump fake handoff all in one motion deal. I'd love to see that type of thing out of the WR screen formation. Does anyoen know what formation they sue and whether it would even be possible or work?

Barber is pretty damn good and fast too. Hopefully Gibbs will use a formation he hasn't shown yet for WR screen.

I think it's really been a very dangerous pass all season. I think our motion before the snap has helped buy some time to allow the play to develope.

On this same note, what is the Over / Under that Sellers scores on that "Fullback into the flat" pass from inside the 10yard line that he does every week!

The Skins run that every week and no one seems to ever cover Sellers, Someone is not watching film very well.

Some one will eventually cover Sellers on that play and we'll actually get to see who the play is designed for. It couldn't be designed for him as the real first option because, well it's Mike Sellers. But there has to be another good option on that play. Another option that was probably initially the real first option before the league decided not to cover Sellers like he had the plague or something. It is amazing how he consistently doesn't get covered on it.

It's a very tough play to defend in the redzone because the D is so keyed in on the run.

Yea, i was thinking the same thing. Its pretty humoruous. I'd like to know how many times we've scores on that pass this year, i'm guessing, maybe 10 times or more?? I don't know that it hasn't worked this season.

My buddy and I call it "The Play" and nothing more. We are convinced that we are the only ones who notice that we always run it and it always works. However, its not always Sellers...Cooley and Royal can get involved in "The Play" too. We'll just be sitting there and be like, "Time to run The Play!" and its 6 for the Skins.

The best part about The Play (besides the fact that it means a Skins TD) is that we sit 6 rows from the field in the endzone, so The Play comes like right at us.

I was pretty close to catching the ball that Sellers threw into the crowd during the Cowboys game, but a stupid Cowboys fan in a cape and no shirt got it. He then said he was giving it to his mom as an Xmas gift. What a douche! If it were a Cowboys TD in Texas Stadium Id have thrown that junk back at the player and hoped I knocked him out. What kind of fan keeps a TD ball from the other team?

Sorry Im rambling, but its my last day at work before I go on vacation and I gotta get out of here!!!!
