Re: Sean Springs spends a night in jail!

I got caught for reckless driving/speeding at 30 miles over the speed limit back when i was 18 and didn't have to go to jail. I just lost my license for 3 months. Maybe they are making an example of him or just wanted to get some autographs.

I think I'd take one night in jail over loosing my license for 3 months and if you get caught driving on a suspened lic thats another major violation. With his speed that much over the limit he should of spent the night in jail cars can kill and at that speed its even thatmuch worse.

Yeah, my comment was sarcasm. I realize now I didn't portray that too well! Honestly, I'd appeal it Shaun, thats a lot for such a petty crime.

Daseal, you haven't decided how to spell Springs' first name. It's not "Sean" or "Shaun." It's supposed to be "Shawn."

Re: Sean Springs spends a night in jail!

I got a ticket doning 105 mph taking my Sister back up to Berkeley. It was a pain in the ass! Not only did I have to drive for 3 hr's to get to court(twice). But my insurance went through the roof! They told me I might as well have gotten a DUI. Needless to say I have a much lighter foot these days. Because if that. Or maybe I just getting old. Anyway it's really not worth it to speed. Anything over 90 mph and your in trouble. At least I didn't have to spend a night in gail. Ouch!

Riggo, Anything over 90 and a blown tire, you are not in trouble, you are dead!!!
Dude, just leave earlier next time, so you don't have to do 105.

What is the definition of not "in good shape"? He would have probably rather spent the night in jail and paid a fine, verses the night in the hospital and a hospital bill.

Re: Sean Springs spends a night in jail!

I got stopped for 95 in a 55 when I was 19 - and got a warning. Still don't know how I managed that one, though the cop was hilarious. He walks up, leans on my door and says, "Son, can you give me one good reason why in the hell you're doing 95 miles per hour down this road at 2:00am?"

I just said, "I'm sorry sir, must not have been paying attention."

He goes back to his car, comes back with his book and makes me read the section on the penalty for 40+...$500 fine and 4 points on my license. He then says, "I don't know why, I guess I just feel like a nice guy tonight and you look like a decent kid, but I'm gonna give you a warning."

I don't know where he is today, but God bless cops like that
