I changed the thread title. I know you didn't intend any harm NM, but there are people on this site who are suffering, have suffered, or are living with someone suffering from actual cancer. Out of respect I'd rather not use the word lightly.

Tis true, just read it. Its would figure that he stays in our division. Lets hope that he has the same effect on the Cowpies that he had on the Beagles. Im not skerred...Two words: Antwan & Santana

Those two words should actually be Lloyd and Santana. R El is a better athlete but Lloyd is the better reciever; he will have the biggest impact on our offense while Randle will stand out on Special teams and in the slot.

Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens

After winning big gambles in real estate and digging for oil wells, he put it all on the line to buy the Cowboys in 1989. Since then, he's fired Tom Landry, forced out Jimmy Johnson, entrusted a championship club to Barry Switzer and given Deion Sanders a $13 million signing bonus.

Jones felt pretty good about his choices when the Cowboys won their third Super Bowl in a four-year span. But that was 1995; Dallas has won only one playoff game since.

He's lost other big gambles along the way, from sticking with Switzer to hiring Chan Gailey, then Dave Campo as head coaches. He's also risked public scorn by releasing franchise icons Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith.

Irvin's off-field woes are the local precedent for taking on Owens.

I really liked that part

I realy don't get your post. Jones has won three SB's as owner of the Cowboys. When they did give Deion 13 mil he could still perform on the field. What did we pay him for doing nothing? Troy retired from Lavars hit. Emmitt needed to retire but he still wanted to play and chose to play for another team. With the cap sometimes you have to let go of franchise players who still want to play. With the way that they have structured Owens deal they can cut him next year with no cap hit. I would not want Owen's on the skins but they did a great job on his contract so if Owen's does start problems they can get rid of him. Oh, and when they fired Landry it ticked off alot of diehard Cowboy fans at the time but if you would have asked any Cowboys fans 7 or 8 years later they would say it was the right move. I'm not defending Jones but he has not done all that bad.

Great post look guys this is why I like to come and post in this site even tough we rut for different teams there are a lot of you who give excellent analysis, and feedback of each situation and see a subject as fearly minded as posible.

And you can talk football with real fact with everyones different points of view but everyone tryes to defend their own point of view with reason and not the typical ....... YEAH REDSKINS RULE, DALLAS SUCK or viceversa.

And really Jerry has done some bad moves especially with coaches, 1 trade Joey Gallowey and some draft pics but hey he also has brought 3 SB to the franchise and made a Dinasty in the time. And turn a Franchise that was bankrupt in 2 1 of the most profitable franchise in the NFL

It's like you guys everytime you get upset when the media or someone else attacks Danny and his moves and what he has done with the franchise and every time bring back his 2000 signings.

The fact is that Danny has made your franchsie the most profitable franchise in NFL has change some of his aproachs but has allways been determine 2 win and do what ever it takes, just like Jerry they're both competitors.

He has the best coachin staff money can buy seriuosly he has 3 head coaches in 1 team, he stop signing the big name old free agents and has gone for players that can help the team and play the contract he has made an art of cap manegment by making contract bakloadead after 3 years so players can be cut or restructure.

He still overpays in my book but you can't deny that the resent pickups have all work out you still question some of his metods but you can't deny that he would do what it takes 2 win.

And thats what you wnat for an owner someone thats competitive someone that tries to give your team the best chance 2 win not like Detroit, NO, thats filed with under achivers and 4 years ago I would include Cincinati and Arizona but they're both changing ways.

A douchebag player for a douchebag franchise. They deserve each other. How long will it be before he throws Bledsoe under the bus or calls him a faggot?

I think we'll have to wait until it's clear to the local Dallas press, as well as the fans, that their season is over. ...So I'd bet on Game 11.

T.O.'s new rap from his website:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2377168

"When it comes to this game, I'm the best in the field, some said I was gonna sign just a one-year deal, but I got what I wanted up front, 10 mil, changed the rules of the game, so now how you feel?" Owens raps.

Owens also takes shots at the Eagles' management in the rap: "I got a brand new team, I am a Cowboy now, no more black and green, to the haters that said I'm not going to get my money, I'm laughing in your face, ha ha, that's funny."

He really wants the Philly fans to kill him.

Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens

with the way his contract is,he stands to make a base salary of 7 million in year 2 of the contract.you might see T.O. have the best behavior of his career now that he is 32 years old.then, maybe not
