Re: News Alert: Redskin Locker room.

seriously, the offense is too compicated for Mark. It seems like they are asking him to make passes but lets be honest that isnt Mark. He would much rather be handing it off to CP the heartbeat of this offense. The defense is trying but they feel the anxiety and shame of the offense. Where are the sweeps and simple plays? I dont even know what type of style we have. Its like they snap it and all hell breaks loose.

Seriously; be whatever you want, but this is inexcusable. We have played, no joke, the worst football thusfar this preaseason. The ONLY positive you can think of for this freaking monstrosity so far is that its PREseason. Thats it, this team is going backwards.

I totally agree. We sucked. Maybe last season was all luck after all. I'm just flat out disapointed!

That will be the only statement that will let me sleep this week. The only posistive is that this is still preseason. At least we are only losing are pride and self respect instead of games.

Re: News Alert: Redskin Locker room.

There is a lack of focus it would seem, and that is not good, but we are installing a new offense, and have a new offensive coordinator, and a lot of new players.

We are not using our offensive system, and Saunders seems to not care if we score really - he says it's about individual matchups.

I think as a team we are not making a huge effort to win.

Remember Steve Spurrier's preseason plan? We don't want to win for winning's sake in the preseason if that doesn't allow us to prepare as well as possible.

The key is that we are in a MAJOR TRANSITION. It will take time to get this going. I do think we will see quite a different team against Minnesota than the scores of our games so far suggests.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Re: News Alert: Redskin Locker room.

Three games now without a scoring drive for the starting offense. Granted, they haven't played the whole game, but in each contest they get more playing time.

Has there ever been 4 preseason game without a scoring drive from the starters under Gibbs?

Offensively speaking, are we watching a carry-over from the same dismal offense we saw back in January with the playoff games against Tampa and Seattle? Has this group of offensive players run completely out of gas?
