Apparently we will never win a SB.
Washington Redskins, National Football League - CBS SportsLine.com
While I wont argue that Snyder does some dubious things this guy also makes some statements that he can't support. "Snyder has always cared more about which A-lister is sitting where in his box. The welfare of the league, small markets, salary cap manifestations. Forget it. He's not interested." Um... not even sure where the whole A-lister thing is coming from but I do know that the main reason the CBA got done was because Snyder LED the way for the big market teams. He did so without fanfare and never got publicly involved but there been several articles that eluded to the fact that owners like J. Jones and B. Kraft followed SNYDER's lead when it came to compromise. I think you can't say he doesn't care about the league. |

Was I at the right game? Somehow losing by 3 points to a decent team is getting "embarassed".

Re: Apparently we will never win a SB.
I got about 3 paragraphs into that and had to stop reading because that guy seems like a world-class douchebag. Obviously he has a personal thing against Snyder that he can't get over. He's not worth wasting my time.

Re: Apparently we will never win a SB.
Also I thought Snyder has and always will be a REDSKINS fan thats why he bought the team. Hell if any of us had his money wouldn't you buy the Redskins. As far as not caring about the league where his team plays in, that is a ludicrious statement that this guy has no buissness making. ( Besides I think he is a Cowboys fan who exercises his bias against our franchise nationally ) F@@K HIM!!

all you guys have art monk avatars, so I thought I'd mix it up.
![]() anyone who disses snyder probably doesn't realize he'll do almost anything to improve the team (sometimes his judgement is off, but his intentions are good) |

apparently you and i werent on the planet earth together when snyder took over the redskins. allow me to refresh your memory. Why the late jack kent cooke didnt leave this team to his son still boggles my mind. Ok snyder assumed control late in 1999 which it was too late for him to screw with team but anyway for those of you who dont remember that was the last year we won the divison and had a home playoff game against the lions which we won and went on to play tampa in tampa and had a chance to win the game at the end but there was a bad snap and the kick was never attempted. In the offseason that year i think he signed deion sanders, bruce smith, mark carrier, and jeff george. Deion, mark, and jeff had past the prime of their careers and so for that matter had bruce smith. I think we finished 7-9 that year. The following season after losing to the cowboys here tore turner a new one and shortly there after fired turner. we were 7-6 at that point and had shot at the playoffs even after the dallas loss. Then came marty who wanted total control of the team which snyder gave him and yes we started 0-5 but i think we ended up 8-8 and we were really turning a corner. But that arrogant asshole, who knows nothing about football couldnt handle not having his hands on the team and couldnt leave well enough alone and fired marty and brought that arrogant ass steve spurrier here and we know what happened with that. So let me fast forward to now he brought gibbs back in here and he(gibbs) has turned the thing around. I realize we had a pretty good season last year and had we had a couple more weapons we might have beat seattle. But the free wheeling and throwings millions at free agents didnt work in 2000 and the verdict is still out on this season. Dan Synder has not business doing anything for the redskins but signing checks and cheering his ass off from the owners box. let the football people make the football decisions and let the owners make owner decisions. Period. Dan Snyder may have all the money in the world but he knows nothing about running a football team. I bet the late JKC is rolling over in his grave at what snyder has done to this pround organization. I am redskin fan through and through so dont get any of this wrong. My point is Dan Snyder is only good at one thing signing the paychecks period. Not making any personnel decisions. I am not saying all of the free agent signings this offseason were all his doings but he threw the money at them. Money cant buy everything. It cant buy unity and it cant buy a superbowl.

"It is no shock that the Minnesota Vikings, not a great group, post-Pornoboat scandal and all, embarrassed Snyder's football team in the home opener."

Re: Apparently we will never win a SB.
I hate self-proclaimed "so-called" Redskin fans that get all bent out of shape and panic 1 week....AN I REPEAT 1 WEEK into the 2007 season. I bet last year you jumped ship way before the team went on there winning streak late in the season only to jump back on the band wagon when they entered the playoffs. You are a joke...and I'm talking to FRPLG and only him. How can you say we got embarrassed when we lost a hard fought game by 3 points? True fans stick with their team and don't bash them after a week 1 loss. I gaurentee your mind will change if we win this week againts the Cowboys.

That's hilarious. He'll have to start a "I'm sorry FRPLG. I can't read" thread
