I have a videotape of the 88 nfc championship game...madden crackes me up in that. He starts talking about the high tech computing of the all madden team...hilarious, it cuts to a shot of a fat guy eating a sandwich in front of a computer. Him and Pat were great together. Also hilarious that game, the Vikings punter was named Bucky Scribner...if there was ever a name with which a person was doomed to be a punter from birth, it was Bucky Scribner

I was at a Vikings-Packers game last year and I was sitting under Madden. This drunk yells "Hey, Captain Obvious, say something f---ing new once in a while." Madden actually looked down at the guy and then returned to calling the game. It was pretty hilarious.
