Lloyd's Sideline Hissyfit

Does anyone know what Lloyd's sideline fit was all about? Was he in a fight with ARE?

I am glad he is pissed. At least he cares and has a pulse. Does #8 have a pulse?

Damn right. It's about time somebody showed some emotion.

It's only a matter of time before the frustrations get more and more noticeable on the sidelines.

Years ago, Gary Clark throwing an occasional fit was usually a good thing. Hopefully some of Lloyd's passion starts to rub off on others. I'd like to see a little more of it out of the coaches. I love that Parcells will shoot a player "the stare" when he feels it's warranted. Gibbs seems like the good cop, but we need Bugel or somebody to be the bad cop on this coaching staff.

If I thought anyone on the team took him seriously, I would be glad that he was mad. But since he's a joke it's all sound and fury signifying nothing. Coach probably took away his headphones or something.

He's a joke? How so? You think he is getting any looks? The guy throwing the ball is a joke...so is his annoying "thumbs up" sign when he does something f'ed up.

That's the worst part - every time they show a closeup of Brunell, he looks totally disengaged, like he couldn't care less about the game. We need a QB with fire in his eyes.

His system is wrong for this franchise. His system is for teams that want to win pretty in the regular season and then get crushed in the postseason -Ask Kansas City... and yes their defense was terrible, but Saunders' play calling makes defenses terrible because he never controls the ball- and now our defense is getting worse too.
This team has to pick an identity, and Al saunders represents the wrong identity- Just ask the O-line.

Um maybe the way the organization works is wrong for a proven offense. It is people like you that bash everytime something new doesnt work right away, and the front office had that mentality/still might have it. The reason we went to the playoffs last year, is because we had one losing year with Gibbs, and Danny boy did not give him the ax. Keeping similar systems tends to lead to winning in the NFL. Last year in the playoffs, this great offense of last year totally stopped. People doubled Moss, and Cooley, and stacked the line, and the Skins couldnt do shit. Everyone was bitching about the offense, and it finally got the fire power(recievers) and the ammo(the playbook) that it desperated needed. It is gonna take a while for it to work, but Saunders ran a finesse offense like they do with the Colts, and it is working perfectly fine.

Saying that Saunders's style is not prone towards winning is just ignorant and wrong.

So why did we change systems to Saunders' stuff. Yes it's a proven winning system, but its NOT a proven CHAMPIONSHIP system. Ball control is a proven championship system year after year.
There is a reason Payton Manning hasn't won a super bowl- Finnesse wins regular season games - Intimidation (defense, running and playaction) wins Championships.
There was no reason to add Saunders after last year. Gibb's system was making progress - like you said, why change a proven system.
Gibbs = 3 super bowls.
Saunders = 0
It's not about winning in October, I'm sure after one or two more years Saunders giant playbook can give you an 11-5 season, but I'll guarantee it won't give you a super bowls. Why wait 2 years to be back where we were last year, when this season could have been special.
HUGE MISTAKE

If "Last year in the playoffs, this great offense of last year totally stopped. People doubled Moss, and Cooley, and stacked the line, and the Skins couldnt do shit. " is the case, we got 2 more reliable receivers in ARE and LLOYD to take the extra defenders off of Moss so why not use last years Offense and see if it worked seeing that we added those to counter the coverage on Moss? why throw a whole new system? I say let Coach Gibbs run the team.... didnt need saunders. dont care if you say it takes time to learn a new system we were not that far off last year from the big game.. so why throw something in that confuses everyone or takes 10 wks or a season to grasp when more than likely you wont have all them same players next year and you will have new players learning a system new to them. back in the same boat. so i say why not leave the system we had last yr since we added new wr's. It is saunders thats causing this mostly, some MB but mostly saunders. JG needs to take the reigns and take this team back over..
