O Line

I made this same thread last year and then we won six games in a row. That's not going to happen this time so I will say what I said then. The O Line has been so overrated in the past it's always been like "we have bookend tackles" yeah right and now they are just plain bad. They can't hide anymore. They are an embarassment! The D line is bad as well. No heart overpaid punks. I am sick of our big boys. They are garbage.

Disagree 100%. I've seen enough turnover to last me a lifetime. We need to add a CB, a DT, DE, K, and P. We don't need turnover on offense, just time to get used to the system and let JC develop.

Re: O Line

hopefully we'll address the issue through the draft and/or free agency...Max Starks-Steelers, Leanord Davis(beast)-Cardinals, Mike Gandy-Bills

Re: O Line

I think the problem is on the interior, mainly LG and C. Neither Dock or Rabach are particularly stout in pass protection. When teams get pressure it always seems to come up the gut.

I think the problem is on the outside just as much as the inside.

Re: O Line

Jansen and Samuels have struggled on pass plays. Rabach has been manhandled a times, and Thomas and Dockery, I am not sure about. Some times, I think it may be the system, because there seems to be, to many guys coming threw unblocked. It reminds me of the Spurrier days.

Re: O Line

The way we are going, we should be able to draft anyone we want.

Re: O Line

Samuels played much better today. I think Dockery has actually been one of our better linemen this hyear. He makes progress every year.

It might be time to draft a replacement for Jansen. He looks HORRIBLE.

Samuels looked better today, but I have not forgiven him for the Colts game. Jansen continues to look like s**t.

Re: O Line

I don't like to make accusations about players' motives, but there are times when I can't help but wonder if Jansen doesn't have his mind more on his broadcast career than his playing career.

Great point, and that's disappointing especially since he's one of the main faces of skins to others in the league, fans, and media.
