You know, it doesn't matter. And somehow, this is suppose to absolve Peter King from all his years of horendous voting.

So much for that! King will never be absolved after this BS cuz I dont care what anybody says, he wanted Irivin in first so he could shit on us. Screw Peter King.

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
The HOF just lost all creditibility for letting Irvin in before Monk. Drugs and loud mouths before Role Model and Humble ways. All Redskin fans should boycott the Hall of Shame.

i would really like to here the reasoning behind Irvin over Monk. they were alot alike in their games. and Monks stats are miles ahead of Irvin's

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
I think Irvin should be there, he just shouldn't have gotten in ahead of Monk. But the voters are looking at postseason too and that's where the difference lies.

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
Monk had 69 postseason catches and Irvin had 87, really not that huge of a disparity if you ask me. Also he had seven td catches to Irvin's eight.

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
Looking at the postseason? What on earth are you talking about? Monk was just as good as Irvin was in the postseason.

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
well sure. Monk was at the end of his career. If both had been playing in their prime at the same time, Monk would have gone to more pro bowls. There was a lack of quality receivers when Irvin was going to pro bowls.

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
What in the world are you talking about???? Can you show me some stats that put irvin WAY ahead of Monk? Can you please explain your stance on the post season instead of leaving it open? I guess irvin made himself a household name, but it wasnt all from ON the field production. Monk should have been in by now, and the voters are watering down the value and integrity of the HOF. The HOF voting is becoming more and more like the pro bowl voting, a complete joke. I wish the voters werent replaced only when they retire or die, it should be a set number of years and then they bring in a new batch. Anyway, skinsfan69 show me what the difference is in the post season that puts irvin ahead of Monk.

Re: F... the HOF voters!!!!
Postseason stats:
Michael Irvin: 16 games, 87 catches, 1314 yards, 8 TDs Art Monk: 15 games, 69 catches, 1062 yards, 7 TDs But Monk also had 6 carries for 17 yards, whereas Irvin had 0 for 0....so ha!
