Lions Sign WRs Robinson and Russell

TSN : NFL - Canada's Sports Leader

Wow! Cliff Russell. What a blast from the past

But anway, I put this in the Draft forum because the real story here (if there is one) is Marcus Robinson. What effect, if any, do you guys think this will have on Saturday with the Lions at #2.

For the record, I think CJ is going #1 anyway

And by the way, my self-imposed ban on draft talk still stands. I consider this Evaluation of Amateur Player Selection and Elevation to the Professional Level talk

A ban is a ban...no way around it. But that's OK.

I don't think it will have any effect at all on the draft. Niether are game breakers, they will only provide depth and KR help.
CJ is going to be a Buc.

Depends if you consider the Lions an NFL team.

Cause he's fast. That's all you need to hang around in the NFL.

RJ Soward was fast, but he couldnt catch, so I am not entirely convinced.

What kind of question was that? He was too small to tackle and too fast to catch. The poor SOB should have worn two first base mits.

Russell was a project that didn't pan out for us. The guy is lightning fast but could never stay healthy. For his sake I hope he can stay healthy and perform well.
